Ihram outfit

The ihram outfit is one of the essentials for every Muslim man preparing to perform Hajj or Umrah. At anaaz. store, you will find several styles of men’s ihram outfits in two pieces, designed to meet the needs of the pilgrimage while remaining practical and comfortable. We offer different materials such as jacquard polyester, microfibre or classic polyester, with a range of weights to suit your preferences and the season.

What is an ihram outfit?

Ihram refers both to the state of consecration the pilgrim enters and to the specific garment worn at that time. For men, the ihram outfit consists of two pieces of unstitched white cloth: one for the lower body, the other for the upper body. This garment is a reminder of equality, simplicity and detachment from worldly things during the pilgrimage. In our shop, every 2-piece set respects these principles, with careful finishing and materials designed to be worn for a long time.

Materials designed for comfort

The choice of fabric matters a great deal for an ihram outfit. We offer styles in lightweight microfibre (700g or 1000g) for those seeking softness and breathability, as well as versions in jacquard polyester or classic polyester, valued for their durability and easy care. All our outfits are white, as tradition requires, and designed to avoid any discomfort while traveling or during the rituals of Hajj and Umrah.

How to choose your ihram outfit

To choose your ihram outfit well, look at the fabric weight: a heavier fabric (1000g) is more opaque and can be useful when it is cool, while a lighter weight (700g or 660g) is more airy, perfect for hot periods. The 2-piece cut remains the standard for the Muslim pilgrimage, and our styles are designed to suit most body types. If you are hesitating between several materials, think about your travel habits and the length of your stay.

Use during Hajj and Umrah

The ihram outfit is worn from the moment you enter the state of consecration, before arriving in Mecca. It accompanies the pilgrim throughout all the main rites, from the tawaf to the walk between Safa and Marwa. Our sets are designed to make these moments easier: no uncomfortable seams, quick-drying fabrics and a cut that allows great freedom of movement. This way you can focus on your spirituality without worrying about your outfit.
